Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. provides the following End-User License Agreements with respect to the software it distributes, currently through Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Australia. An End-User License Agreement is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. for a Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. Such software product includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of the End-User License Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT; you may, however, return it to your place of purchase for a full refund. Each SOFTWARE PRODUCT is identified as a:

• Licensed/Registered version
• Demo version (normal software distributed free of charge to health care professionals)

Demo Software
GRANT OF LICENSE. Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. grants you the following rights with respect to Demo Software: Installation and Use. You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. OTHER TERMS. Demo Software is also subject to the rights and limitations listed below under the heading "Additional Terms and Conditions."

Additional Terms and Conditions
DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation. Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer. Support Services. Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. do not provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). Use of You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this End-User License Agreement, provided the recipient agrees to the terms of this End-User License Agreement. Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. may terminate this End-User License Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this End-User License Agreement. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Novo Nordisk A/S or its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material except that you may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. WARRANTY. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you. NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES. In no event shall Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use of this product, even if Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd. or Novo Nordisk A/S has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
From time to time, we may change our Legal, Trademark and Copyright Notice. We will post those changes on this page so that our customers will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we share the information with others.

4. Privacy Policy
Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty Limited (“we”) respect your right to privacy. Because we feel your privacy is so important, we are providing this Privacy Policy to describe when and how we may collect, use, store and disclose your personal information. It also details the type of information we collect, and whom we allow to access it.

We are bound by the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act as well as general law intended to protect your privacy. In addition to this Privacy Policy, we may on occasions provide you with specific notice about how we use particular information we collect from you. 

Typically, it takes at least ten years to bring a pharmaceutical product to market. This takes the work of a great many people, many scientific trials and work with regulators to ensure that the result is a product that doctors want to prescribe and people are pleased to use. We want to make a real, positive difference in people's lives.

Without understanding many aspects of the people who use our products, we can't be sure that the ten years of work will give customers what they want. So this leads us to continuously ask for feedback from customers.

What information does Novo Nordisk collect about you?

We may collect the following information about you:
If you are a doctor or pharmacist:
your name, profession, business address and other contact information;
any comments or suggestions you have regarding our products;
details gathered during contacts made by our sales or customer service representatives to you to ensure we provide you with a personalised service;
statistical details regarding  your practice, prescriptions given or filled by you;
details of medication or products you request from us; and
details of any dealing you have with us.

If you are an individual consumer:
contact details, such as your name and e-mail/postal address;
basic information about you, such as age and gender;
details of any dealing you have with us;
health and treatment data; and
other information may also be asked, when relevant, and could include information about lifestyle or the household you live in as these impact aspects of managing medical conditions.

There is always a lot of information that a company can collect about you, but Novo Nordisk will only ask for information where there is a clear need. It costs a lot of time and money to manage data, so it is only sensible that we put most of our resources into finding solutions to customer needs rather than maintaining costly databases.

We will usually only collect your personal information from you directly, unless it is not reasonable or practicable to do so, or you are aware that we are receiving the information from someone else.  For example, if you are a doctor we may get details on your practice from suppliers of medical databases.  Some advertisers or Web sites that have links on our website may collect personally identifiable information about you when you access or utilise those links. We do not control the collection or use of such information, and the practices of those advertisers and Web sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

You will always have a choice as to what information you provide and we will give you the right to be anonymous in your dealings with us wherever possible.  However, if you decide to withhold personal information which is necessary for us to provide a product or service, it may affect our ability to provide you with that product or service.

Use and disclosure of your personal information
Any information we collect is used internally, by us or our parent company to:
provide you with medication, products or treatments and to notify you when further medication or product replacements may be required provide you with notices of new information that may be of use or interest to you. This may include newsletters, Web site update notices, or notification on the availability of new products and product upgrades monitor safety and product performance survey you (and others) in an attempt to improve our Web site, our products, or our business notify you of third-party products that we believe might be of interest to you improve the quality of our Web site. Some information is kept for a number of years to comply with legal requirements.  Any personal information that is no longer needed is destroyed.
